This GivingTuesday, Give Hope a Home
December 1, 2026
Every day at Watermelon Mountain Ranch, a dog or cat arrives who needs more than a safe place to sleep. They may be frightened, injured, sick, elderly, abandoned—or simply out of time.
Because of you, they get another chance.
This GivingTuesday, we invite you to stand with the animals who need us most. Your gift helps provide the food, medical care, shelter, rehabilitation, love and second chances that transform vulnerable animals into beloved family members.
Whether you give $25, $250, or $2,500, your gift makes a difference.
Your generosity makes healing possible.
A gift to Watermelon Mountain Ranch helps provide:
🐾 Emergency medical care for animals who arrive injured or critically ill
🐾 Veterinary care and rehabilitation for dogs and cats who need time to heal
🐾 Food, shelter and daily care for the animals who call the Ranch home
🐾 Safe haven for senior dogs through Lee's Retirement Village
🐾 Foster care and adoption support that help animals find loving forever homes
🐾 Molly's Mercy Missions, our lifesaving rescue program that reaches animals facing euthanasia in shelters across the Southwest
🐾 A second chance for animals who might otherwise never get one
Every life has a story. You can help change the ending.
For 30 years, Watermelon Mountain Ranch has been a place of hope for animals in need.
Founded in 1996 by Lee and Sophia DiClemente, what began as a grassroots effort fueled by a small group of devoted animal lovers has grown into New Mexico's largest no-kill animal shelter, with a ranch campus, resale stores, adoption centers, foster programs, humane education, an onsite veterinary clinic and lifesaving programs serving animals throughout the Southwest.
And the need has never stopped.
Since our founding, more than 250,000 animals have been given the chance to live, heal and find loving homes through Watermelon Mountain Ranch.
But our work is not measured only in numbers.
It is measured in the dog who finally feels safe.
The cat who receives the medical care she desperately needs.
The senior who gets to spend his final years surrounded by love.
The injured animal who survives because someone chose to say yes.
This GivingTuesday, be part of that story. Give today. Give generously. Give hope.
Thank you for your continued support.
For the love of animals,
The Watermelon Mountain Ranch Family
P.S. Thank you for believing that every life matters.
